Connect - Communicate - Create

I have had inquiries from out of province artists wanting to attend the Connection opening and would like suggestions for nice accommodations that are clean and don't cost an arm and a leg downtown. If anyone could suggest a hotel with their approximate price points, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks so much.

This place is where I stayed when i visited Toronto and I enjoyed it very much. Its family owned, clean, there are rooms starting at 79$ but I stayed in the suits which were very comfortable.
Hope it isnt to late to help
Thank you Heather, I passed on the information.

Well, i can't guarantee cleanliness but for the budget traveler looking to meet interesting individuals try couchsurfing. You might have a couch, a futon, or the guest room with an en-suite hot tub. I've been doing it for years and i've had nothing but rewarding experiences. The real benefit to staying with a local in their home is that you are given the inside scoop on the area - where to eat, where to go dancing, where to find other jewellery nerds, ect. www.couchsurfing.com and i'm found as "Alastair" in "Toronto" with the same profile photo.
Thanks Alastair, I'll pass it along. On another note how's your write up coming along? Need any help?
Cheers,
Cheryl

Banting House B&B http://www.bantinghouse.com/main-categories/rates_reserv.html - currently have a special on $95/night shared bath. Not sure about availability

Toronto Garden Inn http://www.torontogardeninn.com/subpage.asp?id=2 . Rates from $68/single - $128/triple

I did a search for "bed & breakfast toronto" and found a couple of others, but those were the two that leapt out at me.
