Job Posting New Brunswick College of Craft and Design

The Jewellery/Metal Arts studio at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design is seeking a qualified instructor to teach courses during the Fall and Winter semesters of the 2009/10 academic year. Courses will include studio courses in jewellery but may also include rendering and jewellery art
history.

Position criteria:

Flexibility: With the difficulty of providing a start date, candidates must be able to commit on short notice.
Salary: Determined by academic qualifications and years of experience, as per our collective agreement.
Experience: 3 years teaching within a post secondary educational environment.
Qualifications: At least an undergraduate degree or diploma, with at least two years of professional activity.
Duration: Approximately 4-6 months.

Under the leadership of Brigitte Clavette RCA, the Jewellery/Metal Arts studio has been renovated to create a wonderful, positive learning environment. Fredericton is a beautiful, historic city situated on the Saint John River. The combination of educational experience and downtown location in a designated Cultural Capital of Canada creates a real gem in Canadian visual arts education.

Please feel free to contact Beth Biggs or Brigitte Clavette for any questions or further information. We look forward to hearing from you:
