I am looking to purchase some chasing tools and quality pitch. I am wondering if anyone knows of is a good supplier near Toronto or at least in Canada. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lacy in Toronto carries a good supply. The German pitch (red ) is a better quality than the black standard pitch.

Thanks Blair, the German pitch is the one I am looking for. Lacy doesn't show it on their website but I will phone them to see if they have it.

Rob,
Take a look at this website: http://www.valentinyotkov.com/

You will find the best advise from a true world master of chasing. There is also the advise where to get the best tools and accessories for the job.
Good luck.

Hey, I'm looking for pitch as well. I tried Lacy's but the person I spoke to hadn't a clue what sort of pitch they stocked and it was way pricey! I want to get it by the kilo as I want to work big, when I lived in the UK I could buy Swedish Pitch in 2 Kilo boxes, which was superb but if anyone knows of anywhere to get good pitch in larger quantities I'd love to know.

When I lived in Vancouver, we used a type of 'vegetable pitch', called "Northwest Pitch". The company was based in Bellingham WA, but they do ship - the nice thing about it was it wasn't toxic like regular pitch.

A quich search found this link: http://www.northwestpitchworks.com/
