Hello everyone,

Hope you are all doing well. Here's some exciting news I would like to share with you. First of
all, my new Collection is being featured in this month's issue of the "Lapidary
Journal, Jewelry Artist" magazine September 2008 issue. In this magazine, you will find a "step-by-step" guide on how to "Set a Movable Gem new spin on kinetic design".
There's also a wonderful article about my jewelry by Nina Graci
"Magic and Movement, Claudio Pino's kinetic rings are cyclic jeweled
worlds" on pages 46-53 as well as many photos of my most recent pieces.

You can find this magazine at the International Press or via the web at
http://www.jewelryartistmagazine.com/store/backissues.cfm
(September 2008 Jewelry Artist)

Also, I am very pleased to announce that I have been selected to
represent Canada at the International Design Arena at JMA in Hong Kong in
December 2008 where a Collection of 10 sculptural rings will be exhibited. I will
keep you updated about this event!

Voilà, and if you pass by
- Toronto, my rings are presently at the Zilberschmuck Art-Jewellery Gallery.
- Montreal at the CRÉA and NOEL GUYOMAR'CH Gallery
- Athens Georgia, at The Ring Shows: Then & Now and Putting the
Band Back Together, Georgia Museum of Art, Martha and Eugene Odum Gallery of
Decorative Arts. Until November 2008

The best place to let everyone see it immediately is here on your profile. You can also post it to the discussion board, and to the MAGazine group. The Spring issue is already finished, but I'll be happy to reprint the notice in the Fall issue, which will come out in September. Congratulations!

Hi Claudio,
I was so happy to see your amazing work. The movement in your rings is particularly interesting to me. I just read your project in Jewelry Artist (LJ) and will give it a try. It seems like just about everyone says they find inspiration in nature, but I think your interpretations are the best I've ever seen. Stunningly beautiful and unique.

Thanks,
~Jan

Claudio, great news about your selection and lapidary journal article if you would like to post info my I suggest using the forum on the main page rather than events. Events is for MAG events, Gem shows, Galleries etc - as an FYI.

Cheers,
Ryan
